Developing a Basic Web Application

Let's develop a basic sales records keeping web application and call it Kora. Where I come from “Kora” means work not “Legends of Kora” the cartoon series.

We begin with:

Planning.

We shall have a simple document that will guide us on what the web app will do. I used google docs for this.

App flow and component chart

Here we shall have a chart that will show how the app journey will be for the user and the components involved in the app. I used Lucid Charts for this.

Wireframing

We do this to establish the basic structure of the application before visual design and content are added. For this, I used a pen and paper.

UI Design

Here we shall establish a visual layout of the web application of how it will look after building. Figma was used for this.

Now, after all that, we get to build this basic web application we have called Kora.
